Steve Morono, founder of Everyday Steve

About Everyday Steve

One person.
Fifty years.
One mission now.

My name is Steve Morono. I'm the founder of Everyday Steve — and the only human employee. Everything you're about to read is real, not agency copy written about me. I wrote it.

Fifty Years, Three Careers

I've spent my whole career
adapting to what's next.

I finished school and started working full-time in 1975. Hardware, then software, then networks — over 50 years building systems that couldn't fail, including major engineering work for General Motors and Volvo Trucks North America. That's the kind of enterprise work agencies bill $500 an hour for today.

Over 15 of those years, two Fortune 500 companies invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into that expertise — training, salary, and benefits. I'm not saying that to brag. I'm saying it because that investment doesn't have to stay locked inside a corporation. Every Everyday Steve customer gets to leverage it directly, for a few hundred dollars a month instead of a few hundred thousand.

Later, I spent 10 years running Morono Construction Company and Bayview Cabinets — hands-on, every trade, every headache that comes with running a small business: crews, customers, cash flow, and marketing that never quite worked the way it was supposed to.

That's the part that matters most here. I'm not a marketer who learned about trades. I'm a tradesman who happens to also be an engineer.

Why Everyday Steve Exists

Small trades deserve
better than they get.

When I ran my own construction and cabinet businesses, marketing was always the weak link. A real agency was thousands a month I didn't have. The cheap alternatives — shared leads, generic postcards, a website nobody updated — never delivered what they promised, and I never had any real way to know what was working and what wasn't.

Cooperative advertising has worked for decades — car dealers split costs with manufacturers, grocery stores share the cost of the weekly circular, coupon mailers have split postage across a dozen businesses for over 50 years. Nobody had applied that same idea properly to local trades, with the one thing that actually makes it work today: a real, trackable, personal commercial page behind every QR code.

So I built it myself — using the same 50 years of engineering experience I used to build systems for GM and Volvo, and the same AI tools I now use to build every customer's commercial.

The Proof Is What You're Using

I built this entire site
myself. With AI.

The database, the hosting, the account platform, this website — all of it. No development team. No outside agency. Just me and AI, the same combination every Everyday Steve customer gets access to for their own commercial.

That's not a claim you have to take on faith. You're looking at the proof right now.

How I Actually Work With You

No call center.
Just me, directly.

You talk to me on a quick call — not a script, not a sales rep.
You send a photo of you and your truck. That's genuinely enough to start.
I use AI to build your commercial — photos, script, voiceover, your landing page.
You review it before anything goes live. Your call, every time.
If something needs to change later, you reach me directly. Not a ticket queue.

Let's build your
commercial together.

One person, dedicated to your business — not a rotating support queue. Let's talk.
